ABOUT RON

Ron Blunt is a master architectural photographer celebrating over 20 years of artistic excellence in architectural, interior design, and landscape imagery.
Ron works with a dynamic clientlele of world-class architects and designers, luxury resort & hotel brands, and prestigious cultural institutions, including Smithsonian, National Trust for Historic Preservation, and George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens.
Born and educated in England, Ron studied under distinguished British artist Martin Parr. Ron's aesthetic evolved while working in and around London, influenced by Parr's strong compositional style, as well as the subtlety of 19th C Romantic landscape paintings. Idyllic light + striking modern composition are the foundation for Ron's timeless images.
Ron photographs numerous LEED-certified projects and supports the U.S. Green Building Council's movement to make sustainability and conscious building practices an industry norm. He and Keleigh (Director) share an interest in Vaastu, the fortune-building architectural practices of ancient India. They apply these principles to their own homes and offices.
Ron's work garners frequent awards from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and International Interior Design Association (IIDA), among others.
His photographs feature regularly in fine art books and well-known publications:
Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Conde Nast Traveller, Contract, Fulcrum, Glass, Home & Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Preservation, Residential Architect, Town & Country, Traditional Building, Traditional Home, Veranda, Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.
